I have found a stray animal. Can you take it?

Indiana state law prohibits animal cruelty, abandonment, or neglect. If you have found a stray animal, please contact one of the following animal control facilities:

Surrender a Pet

We have very limited space and cannot guarantee that we will be able to accept your pet into our care. Please contact us over Facebook or by email to see if we have availability. For quickest responses, please include the following information:

  • A clear photo of your pet

  • Your pet's name and age

  • A brief description of your pet's medical history. Please include if your pet has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on vaccinations, or is up to date on heartworm and flea preventative.

  • A brief description of your pet's behavior. Is your pet good with children, dogs, or cats? Is your pet house trained?

  • Any behavioral problems or medical problems your pet has

  • Why you need to surrender your pet

Priority is given to pets that have been adopted from us. If you have adopted a pet from us and can no longer keep that pet, please contact us right away. We will always accept the pet back into our care at any time for any reason.
