Some of you may remember Cane the Dane. When we got him you could see every bone and he weighed around 30lbs. Here sre some new pictures of him in his new home. He lives on a horse farm up north. He weighs over 100lbs. and stands 33 1/4"
CHRISTIAN
I thought since I have some time now I would write you and tell you how well Christian is getting along with everybody here. We are still working on the potty training, but he has only gone in the house a handfull of times. He understands when you ask him if he wants to go "potty" and goes to the back door. He is doing much better with being put in his kennel at night. Of course I think he enjoys the milk bone rewards he gets for doing a good job! He will fuss a little bit but relaxes pretty quickly. He really is a great dog and we all think that he will have a good life here. Of course he loves the outdoors and the neighbors dogs, so we are outside quite a bit. My wife has also found that he is a very snuggly dog in the evenings

Ella and I have moved to Bloomington, IL and are settled in nicely. She has adjusted well and I now have no idea what I would do without her. She's amazing and we adore each other! She lovesss the dog park we have in town and plays great with all the other dogs. She always picks the largest dogs there to play with and i think it might be because she is so used to playing with layla (the doberman)! Today she befriended a great dane! haha She's also good at watching out for our place. She's a very good watch dog and barks when needed.

JACK (was Jordan)
Jack now weighs 55 pounds (started out at 30). He can't wait every day to turn into our "Jack Alarm" to wake our 7year old up for school! He puts his front paws on her bed and moves around until he finds a part of her he can lick (usually her hand, but sometimes her nose :) ) He runs like crazy in ...circles in the backyard and ends up doing flips and somersaults. He can destroy an "indestructible" toy in a day. But, in the evenings, he is a very gentle boy and loves to sit on his people's feet or lean against a leg when he's resting. He is curious about the cat and wants to play, but the 12-year-old cat isn't too interested. He's even licked the guinea pigs, but I don't think he'd ever hurt them on purpose. He loves his crate and sleeps in it every night. Jack has been a wonderful addition to our family!

Here is Jaden with her new brother Baxley. Jaden's new family loves her very much and they are teaching her sign language.
JERSEY (Now Lilly)
I adopted Jersey, now called Lilly, back in March. Since then Lilly has been a great addition to my home. She has three feline brothers and sisters that she loves. Lilly spends her days going to the dog park, going on long walks, and playing with friends and family's dogs. She especially loves to go hiking and swim. I can't thank you enough for the blessing that is Lilly and all the positive energy she brings to my home!

Hes doing great, he really gets along well with our other dog lola, it's his little girlfriend. I love him very much, he makes me smile all the time. He's a great addition to our house. He has so much energy and loves to play and then the next minute he comes and naps with me. I'm so thankful that I found him. Thanks!
